STATUS ANXIETY, CLAREMONT QUARTER
This project documents the sculptural next chapter for Status Anxiety with the opening of their very first Western Australian concept store in Claremont Quarter. Designed by Brisbane interior design studio and furniture atelier T. Black and built by Unita, the store is an atmospheric homage to the brand’s understated elegance, featuring natural textures in cobbled flooring, custom sandstone display table legs set in isolation, and a floor-to-ceiling angled timber entryway.
Opting for a lights-off, stripped-back approach ensured the documentation remained architecturally led, revealing the store’s curvature and sculptural tadelakt finishings in full, unencumbered by downlighting or product.
